Microsoft confirmed the unintended removal, stating, "We’re aware of an issue with the Microsoft Copilot app affecting some devices" and assured users that they are working on a resolution.

For those who actively use Copilot, the sudden disappearance was an inconvenience. Microsoft has recommended that affected users manually reinstall the app from the Microsoft Store and re-pin it to the taskbar as a temporary workaround. However, not everyone is eager to bring it back.
